Huntington Beach, California -- February 4, 2010 -- PRNewswire-FirstCall --
ACT Clean Technologies, Inc. (Stock Symbol: ACLH), announced today that its subsidiary, American Petroleum Solutions, Inc. (APS), is entering the California idle and orphan well program.

APS patented technology may be able to improve production levels on these abandoned wells and make them economic producers once again. The senior management of the company has past major project experience including the Mobil Oil -- Torrance Refinery, Southern California Gas Company, Southern California Edison Company and the Long Beach Unified School District.

Bill Anderson, the President of American Petroleum Solutions said,

"The Division of Oil and Gas program encourages operators to reactivate or plug the idle wells. We believe with our proprietary patented fluidizer, we have an excellent chance to reactivate these old wells and turn some of them into profitable active oil and gas wells. We will start our testing as soon as we have completed due-diligence on the wells we think can be reactivated as commercially profitable oil or gas wells."

Russell Kidder, CEO of ACT Clean Technologies stated,

"In 1976, the division of oil and gas and geothermal resources was authorized to plug and abandon certain hazardous and idle-deserted wells. An orphan well is a well that has been deserted and has no viable operator or owner. An idle well is a well that has not produced oil and/or gas or has not been used for fluid injection for six consecutive months during the last five years."
